Therapy doesn’t have to be about having everything figured out—it can simply be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and figure out what comes next. I believe meaningful therapy starts with feeling heard, understood, and accepted for who you are. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about the things that feel difficult, explore what may be keeping you stuck, and work together toward the changes you want to make in your life.
Hi, I’m Analisa Reyes, LCSW-S, LCDC. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Supervisor, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and I believe that therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected.
Reaching out for therapy can be a difficult first step. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, working through relationship or family concerns, or trying to make changes in your relationship with yourself or substances, you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. My role is to walk alongside you, help you better understand what you’re experiencing, and work collaboratively with you toward meaningful and sustainable change.
My approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I meet you where you are and tailor therapy to your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, and other therapeutic modalities as appropriate. I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone, so I strive to continually expand my knowledge and stay current with research and developments in the field.
I work primarily with adults experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction and recovery, parenting, life transitions, low self-esteem, codependency, and relationship or family difficulties. I also enjoy helping clients who may not necessarily be in crisis but recognize that something in their life needs to change and want support navigating that process.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from St. Edward’s University in 2012 and my Master of Science in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin in 2013. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, and those experiences have reinforced my belief that every person brings their own story, strengths, challenges, and capacity for growth into the therapeutic relationship.
I often think of therapy as taking a difficult road with someone rather than simply being given directions. Sometimes the first step is the hardest. My hope is that our work together can help you understand where you’ve been, identify where you want to go, and develop the tools and confidence to move forward.
If you’re considering therapy and wondering whether we might be a good fit, I invite you to reach out. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. We can start with a conversation about what’s bringing you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it.
I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
