Part-time Clinical Therapist Position
Education:
Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related human services field
Experience:
Prior experience or a desire to work with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (any trainings or certifications in this area is a plus, but not necessary)
Engage in assessment, diagnosis and treatment goals and write goal-directed, individualized treatment plans, as well as the ability to monitor and document individual behavior patterns and modify treatment plans to meet changing treatment goals
Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with the diagnostic language outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and maintain objectivity with traumatized population
Investment in expanding current skills/knowledge
Ability to form and maintain good working relationships with a diverse staff and a commitment to enhancing cultural competency
Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department
Licenses/Certifications:
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master’s of Social Work (LMSW).
